Physical Description: Erik is tall, standing at 6’2.5”. He has dark brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. When he smiles, truly smiles, his eyes crinkle at the sides. He works hard to keep himself in shape. He has great arms and a chiseled chest. Erik is mostly a jeans and t-shirt kinda guy.

Personality: Erik is kind of soft spoken. He’s not really shy, just not boisterous or what one would call the life of the party. He tends to attract girls because of his looks and he definitely took advantage of that. He has manners of a Southern gentleman, opening doors, paying for meals, etc. He is naturally very polite and generous. He is an incredible listener and very observant. Because of these things, women usually fall in love with him quickly.
Erik is very comfortable with sexuality. He can find something very sensual about everyone he meets. He enjoys sex immensely and sees no problem with a healthy sexual appetite as long as one practices safe sex. Which he does…always.
The one time Erik did not practice safe sex, he ended up with a pregnant girlfriend. She had the baby and then relinquished all parental rights to her. April is 7 now and the light of her daddy’s life. She had him wrapped around her little finger and he couldn’t imagine it any other way. She was the center of his universe. He was a gentle and patient dad and one had to but look at them to see the love they have for each other.

History

History: Erik had a pretty normal childhood. He has an older sister who he is the best of friends with. His parents died in a car crash when she turned 18 and he was 16. She became his legal guardian and saw that he had a good life. She put him through college and was there for him when April was born. She let him live with she and her family while April was a newborn so she could help out. She has been his constant rock in his life.

April’s mom, Sarah, kind of broke Erik’s heart. Not only because she broke up with him, but because she all but abandoned their child. He knew she was young, but he assumed she would step up and be a mother. He didn’t expect them to get married or be this big happy family, but he did expect her to be a mother in some way. They had spent 9 months planning their life and then she threw it away the day April was born. She checked out of the hospital AMA (against medical advice) and he never saw her again. The next morning, a courier delivered a legal document giving up all parental rights and requesting that full custody go to Erik. He was stunned and heart broken. He hurt for his little girl who would never have the benefit of a mother.

Since then Erik had dated, but never been serious about anyone. He wasn’t hung up on Sarah; that ship had sailed. He had yet to find anyone good enough to bring home to his little girl. He is but a romantic at heart and always on the lookout for that one girl he could bring home to April.

Special Skills/Abilities: Writer of hardcore erotica fiction. He’s also really good at sex. Not your typical special skill/ability, but there it is.

Personal Weaknesses:
Erik is a sexual person. This puts him at risk for STDs and other diseases. He is very charming to the women that he dates and sleeps with. They usually fall hard for him. Sometimes they get uncomfortably clingy and Erik has to be mean. He’s slightly worried that one of these days a girl is gonna go psycho on him but that hasn’t happened yet.

April is definitely a weakness for Erik. He loves his little girl and will do anything to protect her and make her feel loved. He is always worried about being a good enough dad. He doesn’t think he is good enough most of the time, but he tries he hardest and puts forth a huge effort to do right by her.
Erik has a weird fear of the water. You won’t find him in a swimming pool. And strange that he’s on a ship, which you know typically floats on water. As long as there is no danger of being thrown overboard or sinking (and he was assured on both accounts) then he is fine. He can swim, but for some reason the water has always been scary for him.

Personal Strengths:
Erik loves hard. The minute he saw April he fell in love and there was no looking back. He will do anything for his sister, Haley. Once he falls in love, he falls hard and shows his loved ones he really cares.
One would think that Erik had been raised in the South. He has all the graciousness and manners of a Southern –bred gentleman. He can make anyone feel comfortable and beautiful.
